The app files are stuck. This happens occasionally after an update and it is not a problem with your recipes.
Your data is not affected by the button below. It throws away the cached copy of the app and fetches a fresh one. Every meal, list and plan stays exactly where it is.
You need a connection for the first button, since it fetches the app again afterwards. Do not delete the app from your Home Screen: on iPhone that deletes the recipes with it. If nothing here works, the other phone still has the household copy.
